Since then, she has been feeling seriously impressed with herself, too. She realizes that she handled this situation very calmly compared to past instances and chalked her response up to simply being sick and tired of her boyfriend’s behavior.
“I can admit that I had been wanting to leave for a while. I even had a pros and cons list in my notes app,” she explained.
“But him doing this was the final straw.”
While she is proud of herself for calling it quits after getting hurt again, though, she is still not sure how to move forward.
Due to her relationship, and specifically how her boyfriend treated her, she is now walking away with a lot of trust issues. Quite frankly, she doesn’t even want to date anymore, either, because she cannot imagine placing so much trust in another person again.
“And I haven’t cried at all. I honestly feel like numb and normal. I guess I just got tired, but I don’t know,” she vented.
So now, in the wake of her breakup, she’s been left wondering how to cope with this situation.
