“I’m the college student from floor seven. Please refrain from any kind of social gatherings that might disturb my studying during this stressful time,” the note read.
Since she was not planning a party, however, she really didn’t give the note much thought.
Then, the following day, she had three of her closest friends over on Friday evening. And they didn’t party at all.
Instead, they just hung out in her apartment and listened to some low music– which she claimed you could barely hear in her own bedroom, let alone on another floor.
Yet, on Saturday morning, she was greeted by another note in the elevator. But that time, she realized the college student had explicitly called her out to the whole building!
“Lady from the seventh floor with this apartment number broke the agreement and had a social gathering on Friday night, completely disrespecting the stressful time I’m going through,” the note began.
“She said she’d be discreet, but this is not enough. I could still hear some laughs and discussions because I have my windows and my balcony door open, and it disrupted my peace and focus,” the note continued.
“Let this be a lesson the next time someone decides to disrespect stressful times like this. You will be called out.”
She was utterly shocked to see her name and apartment number blatantly listed in that note, and honestly, she thought it was ridiculous.
A few of her neighbors agreed and defended her, too, claiming that the college student’s demands were simply unreasonable.
However, a few of her other neighbors did think that she was in the wrong and believed she should have just gone to a bar or restaurant to celebrate her birthday instead of having friends over at her apartment.
