However, her mom felt differently. When her mom saw the cake, she “lost her mind.” 

“She said I ruined his birthday and that I should have come straight home after purchasing [it],” she explained.

She doesn’t believe she did anything wrong, especially because her mom was the one who made her run all the errands in the first place.
