This 27-year-old girl got back on a dating app several weeks ago, and she didn’t really believe that she was connecting with any guys on the app, except for one who is 34.

She ended up going out on a first date with this particular guy, and they had drinks and dinner out at a restaurant.

After they were done eating, the restaurant was getting close to shutting down for the night, so he asked her if she would like to stop at another place to have a few more drinks together.

She said yes, and they went to the second location, where they hung out and basically shut the place down.

From there, she headed back to his place to watch a movie with him.

“He told me that I was an amazing person and it was a rarity to meet people like that. He mentioned wanting kids, etc.,” she explained.

“At one point, he was showing me messages from his coworkers in which they were asking about his date (one of them ended up seeing us at the bar), and he said positive things.”

“While showing me his texts, a “tomorrow’s date” was mentioned, which was with another woman. Afterward told me he didn’t mind shutting anything else down if I wanted to see how things go with us. I told him I would like that.”

The very next day, this guy asked her if she would like to come to his place, and she stopped over to spend time with him.

They also did make out on that second date. Then a few days later, she reached out to him to see if he was interested in grabbing drinks with her before his shift for work. He replied back that he was busy completing some chores around his place. This prompted her to question him if he was “still interested” in dating or if he was feeling that they should “part ways.”

“He told me it would probably be best to part ways for now,” she said. “I told him I thought he was amazing, and I wish him the best.”

“He told me that I deserved someone with a better schedule. I replied, “It was a non-issue, but thank you.” Didn’t expect a response and didn’t get one. I know it was only two dates, but I am crushed. I hate rejection. He was treating me like he felt I was super amazing and suddenly changed his mind.”

She also feels extremely confused because they had loads in common, and both expressed wanting to have a family of their own one day.

He also paid her a ton of compliments and really appeared to be invested in her. Add that to him saying he was happy to stop seeing other women, and she doesn’t know how things went south so quickly.

“I’m not sure if he didn’t like the make-out session or if I was being too clingy by asking him to hang out again,” she continued.

“I assumed since he asked to see each other again the day after our first date, that it was okay.”

Why do you think he rejected her?
