The 90s Are Back In Fashion, And Here Are Some Of The Pieces You Need To Add To Your Wardrobe

Fashion trends tend to have a repetitive circle of life. Major trends throughout the decades almost always make a comeback within the newer generations. This cycle makes you wish that your mom had kept all of her clothes from when she was your age.
You’ve probably seen these 90s fashion trends while you were out and about recently. A lot of them have become staples in people’s wardrobes.
1. Tracksuits
Tracksuits are often a comfortable and easy option to have. Wearing one with a bold color out pattern sets them down for the look just by slipping it on. You don’t really have to think much about the rest of your outfit because the tracksuit will speak for itself.
The coveted Juicy Couture velvet tracksuit simultaneously screams luxury and comfort. This classic look is a great wardrobe addition to get your hands on.
2. Flannel Shirts
I don’t know about you, but I personally always have at least five or so flannel/plaid button-downs in my closet at all times. They are such a nice stable piece to have and are easy to add to any outfit or base the entire look around.
Especially in the in-between warm and cold weather of autumn, it’s great to have an additional layer that you can tie around your waist if you need to.
The 90s grunge style icons are who we have to thank for this popular look, which can be so easily incorporated into everyday wear.

3. Overalls
Overalls are another great staple to have in your closet that was popular in the 90s as well. There are so many different ways you can style these to match your vibe and aesthetic. Pair some overall shorts with some cowgirl boots and a flannel for a western look.
Or, find some distressed black overalls and pair them with combat boots and an oversized graphic tee if you want to channel more of the 90s grunge. The options are endless!
4. Claw Clips
I have no doubt that you have seen claw clips everywhere and probably already have a few of your own. Did you know that this style of clip first became popular in the 90s? This accessory is so easy to use and adds a little something to your look. They were definitely onto something creating this one!
There are so many different styles of claw clips these days, and you can literally get one to match any look you’re trying to achieve. Bejeweled, big, small, patterned, pastel, or natural, there is surely a claw clip out there for everyone.
5. Combat Boots
Combat boots are such a classic staple to have in your collection of shoes. Once you get them past that new/breaking them-in point, they are a great everyday shoe to add a bit of 90s grunge to any outfit.
These are great pair of shoes to have and pair so easily with anything in your closet. You can match the grunge vibes by wearing them with an old vintage band tee, or your can pair them with a sundress to add more of an edge to an ordinarily feminine look.
How many of these 90s fashion trends do you already have in your closet? Which ones do you want to add to your wardrobe?
