Her Boyfriend Retaliated Against Her After She Didn’t Wake Him Up For Work

“I told him that I didn’t mean to make him [angry], but that being on time for HIS work isn’t MY responsibility,” she said.

To which he replied that since she was awake and able to help him out, it was rude of her to choose not to. While she understands that partners should help each other out and doesn’t want him to lose his job since he pays for the majority of their bills, she still doesn’t feel like his being late is her fault.

She wasn’t too bothered by the situation until he retaliated in a way that shocked her. She has a favorite white towel that she keeps in their bathroom for decoration, and he intentionally blew his nose into it and made sure she knew.

“He’s, in general, a very good partner, so I was appalled that he would retaliate like that, which made me rethink if I should just keep waking him up if he sleeps in, as I’m already awake and capable of doing it,” she stated.

Do you think that she should continue to wake him up at a certain time? Do you think it was rude of her not to, or do you think her boyfriend should not blame her for his lateness?
