One of those things she picked out was a slice of cake for them to share. She used the bathroom in the middle of their trip there, and when she came back, most of the cake was eaten.
“The day was very nice, but I was kinda sad about the lack of effort and then the constant complaining about the cost of things,” she said.
Later in the day, her husband mentioned that she had an exciting gift coming a few days later. She began feeling hopeful, as leading up to her birthday, she kept telling him she really wanted Taylor Swift tickets and found a good deal he could get on them.
But when the day of the gift reveal rolled around, she received baseball tickets. Her husband is well aware that she hates baseball but bought the tickets anyway.
“I would rather just not get a gift at all than pretend to enjoy sitting through a whole baseball game,” she added.
Now, she’s debating whether or not she should reject his gift.
Would she be too harsh in rejecting the baseball tickets, or should she tell her husband how disappointed she feels?
