Her mother-in-law is on Kate’s side of this argument and thinks it’s disrespectful for them not to follow Kate’s guidelines. However, since her 10-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter do not have to follow these rules, it makes mealtimes super difficult when their stepsiblings are over.
“[Kate’s children] hate following these rules when my children don’t, and my husband and I don’t think it’s fair for my children to have to eat this restrictive diet,” she said.
