But she’s not able to afford to pay for this, which, apparently, her roommate is well aware of. Still, her partner thinks she should at least contribute something.
Yet upon further research, she determined that there weren’t any harmful chemicals in the sponge that she used. So, in her eyes, the fish’s death was not her fault.
“It’s a $10 boring little fish that you couldn’t even see in the tank half the time. It’s easily replaceable and honestly would save her money on fish food if she decided not to replace him,” she added.
And while many people were on her side, some of her comments rubbed them the wrong way.
