The wife replied with a long text, explaining how it was not fair that she was sending special treats for her children and did not consider doing the same for the wife’s children.
Then, his wife told her that if this behavior continued, she would just start throwing out the treats rather than sending them back home with the children.
She was honestly pretty shocked by this reaction and had no idea how she was going to respond. Contemplating how to navigate the issue, she wondered if she should just stop sending baked goods with her kids unless it was for a special occasion, and if that were the case, then send enough for everyone to share.
On the other hand, she had no idea that this would become an issue and is not sure if it should even be one.
“I never thought providing food for my kids for the weekend would cause a problem,” she said.
