She tried to explain to her that the only reason she asked was out of concern for her and was by no means trying to blame her for what had happened.
Also, she shared with her daughter-in-law that she understood that there are numerous reasons for miscarriages and that she had women in her family who had experienced them. Of course, she was very saddened when she heard the news, just as the rest of the family had been.
“We all called to speak to her directly and see how she was but were told she was not ready to speak. We tried to give [her] the space and time she needed for the situation,” she said.
Despite her attempted explanation, she is not sure if her daughter-in-law really believed her words or not.
