She Called Her Sister Fat After She And Her Friends Broke Their Family Hot Tub, And Her Mom Is Upset She’s Ruining Her Sister’s Self-Esteem
This 17-year-old girl has an older sister who is 21, and she absolutely, positively hates her sister with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns.
She says she cannot ever remember thinking one good thought about her sister; that’s the severity of the hatred she has for her.
This summer, her sister has come home to spend time with their family, and she feels that her sister is making her life miserable.
Last week, their mom and dad went out of town, so her sister and her friends decided to have a party.
“I’m not being mean, but it’s a fact that my sister and her friends are very large,” she explained. “I guess my sister is more “thic,” but the others are big.”
“They got into the hot tub, and while it was too many people no matter what because they are so big, a huge amount of the water overflowed over the side.”
“The hot tub is right outside my window, so I could see and hear that the pump wasn’t getting enough water after they got out.”
She screamed through her window at her sister that she had to put the hose in since it would be a huge problem if the hot tub ran dry.
Her sister shot back to stay out of it. She then went outside to put the hose into the hot tub herself, but by the time she got outside, the pump didn’t sound right to her.

It was making a strange noise, and then the breaker went. The very next day, her sister listened to her and filled the hot tub back up with water, and her sister claimed to not know why the hot tub wasn’t working.
She knew it was the circuit breaker, and she didn’t feel like informing her sister of it. Their parents finally got back home, and when their dad went out to go climb into the hot tub, he was livid to find out that it wasn’t working. Their dad has a back problem that causes him a lot of pain, and the hot tub does help his condition.
Her sister ran the hot tub without enough water in it, which destroyed their hot tub, but her sister lied to their dad. Her sister stated that the hot tub was broken when she and her friends went to go use it, so they never went in.
“I told him that actually, no, she and her fat friends overflowed it, and then she ran the pump dry, and she told me to mind my business when I told her how to fix it,” she said.
“My mom is so freaked out about my sister’s self-esteem that she is mad at me for calling my sister fat, my dad is furious with my sister because he needs the hot tub to relax his back or he doesn’t sleep. My dad is mad at my mom for coddling my sister, and the house is even more tense than usual.”
“My sister says I caused all the problems because I’m a snitch and a fat shamer. There’s so much more, but I’m running out of room.”
She’s left wondering if it was wrong of her to basically fat shame her sister and her friends for ruining their family’s hot tub.
