This woman owns a preschool, and last Monday, a 3-year-old boy named David was supposed to start attending her school.

So, the Friday beforehand, David’s parents wanted to come by. That way, David could get to meet some of his classmates before his first day of school.

Now, David and his parents were going to stop by during the preschool’s extended care hours. So, by that time, there would only be four children and one 19-year-old teacher named Natalie present.

Still, she was fine with that and texted Natalie to give her a heads-up that the boy and his parents would be coming.

She also told Natalie that she would get there as soon as possible to talk to David’s parents so Natalie could just focus on the children.

Well, once she arrived to meet the family, she was beyond shocked at what she saw happening in the classroom.

“When I got there, David’s mom and all of the kids were outside while Natalie was inside, held against a wall, and being screamed at by David’s dad,” she revealed.

For context, Natalie always shows either a television show or a movie on Fridays during extended care hours.

But, upon arrival, David’s parents apparently demanded that Natalie turn it off since David was not allowed to have any screen time.

Natalie refused to do that, though, since the rest of the preschoolers were enjoying the movie.

Still, David’s parents turned off the TV anyway, and Natalie attempted to kick the parents out. It was at that point that David’s mother took all of the kids out to the playground, leaving David’s father to yell at Natalie.

“When I saw this, I ripped up all of David’s paperwork and told him to get his family and get off my property,” she explained.

“We ended up shutting down early and calling the police.”

Thankfully, Natalie was okay and only sustained a couple of bruises. So, the teacher will return to school in a few weeks.

Since the incident with David’s parents, she’s also made sure that there is someone at the front desk during extended care hours. That way, no parents will be allowed into classrooms anymore.

“We previously had parents walk into the extended care room to pick up and sign out their kids since there were so few kids,” she noted.

As for David’s parents, they have been blasting her preschool on all sorts of parenting and community groups.

They’ve also left horrible reviews– claiming to have been kicked out for simply “observing” a class and inquiring what David would be learning about.

“They’ve been telling this to other parents, too, claiming that David was a student at one of our other locations,” she vented.

So, some of her friends and family members now believe that she should have “found a better way” to deal with David’s parents rather than kicking them out. In fact, her loved ones even accused her of “inviting trouble” by handling the situation that way.

And now, this has left her seriously wondering if ripping up David’s application and kicking the boy’s parents out of her preschool was really the wrong way to deal with the incident.

Do you think she did the right thing by contacting the police and trying to protect Natalie? How else could she have handled this situation? Would you have done anything different if you were in her shoes?
