Her Husband Is Obsessed With Their Boss’s Daughter, And She’s Disgusted

This 29-year-old woman and her 34-year-old husband work for a little firm, and they were both recommended for jobs there by one of her family members.
She’s been with the company for six years, and her husband has been with the company a year longer than she has.
Several years ago, their boss began bringing his teen daughter to work, and he basically just showed her how their firm operated.
Earlier this year, their boss officially brought his daughter in, and she is now 20-years-old. Their boss explained that his daughter would be taking over some of his work, and it really did make her nervous at first, considering how young this girl is.
She was pleasantly surprised to see that their boss’s daughter was very open to advice and would hold a lot of meetings to talk through things.
Their boss’s daughter is also the last person to leave the office every evening, and this girl has turned into an unexpectedly excellent addition to their firm.
“The issue started initially a few months after she started, she would occasionally hold office events just to lighten the mood, and this earned her a lot of praise from all of us since it’s not something the old boss would have time to look into,” she explained.
“We were all talking about her, so it didn’t feel too weird at first when my husband joined in on the praising, “How impressive it is she’s so young but so mature,” “How she’s been a breath of fresh air in the office,” “Everyone’s so motivated to work cause of her,” etc.”
“With hindsight, it seems like that was just his “in” on talking about her with me in general. Every now and then, he’d start singing her praises when we were at home, a huge talking point always being how she’s so mature for her age and understanding, even pointing out how we weren’t at that age.”

She honestly didn’t think anything of her husband’s comments regarding their boss’s daughter until her husband began commenting on her appearance.
Her husband would say things like their boss’s daughter looked super good even though she was busy with working and studying at college, and he would say she’s more gifted than other women.
One time, she asked her husband outright if he found their boss’s daughter more gorgeous than her, and he said that she is attractive to him, but objectively, their boss’s daughter is more attractive.
This really messed with her self-esteem, and they fought about what her husband had said. She finally told her husband he was no longer allowed to say anything about their boss’s daughter to her face unless it pertained to work.
However, after that fight, her husband started working overtime and staying late at the office. She thought it was because he wanted more money, but she later learned her husband’s intention was to be able to stay late at the office alongside their boss’s daughter, and they were frequently the only ones there.
Over this past weekend, her husband went out with his friends, and she ended up using his laptop without asking as hers was being repaired.
She and her husband don’t hide their devices from one another, and they also don’t have a problem sharing devices, so that’s why she didn’t seek his permission before logging onto his laptop.
But, when she went to open up her husband’s laptop, she spotted a folder on there with their boss’s daughter’s name.
Curiosity got the best of her, and she clicked on the folder to see what was inside. In the folder were more than 1,000 photos of their boss’s daughter, accompanied by screenshots of her from social media and photos that clearly had been snapped of her at the office without her knowing.
Some of the photos were of their boss’s daughter’s chest or taken of her from under a table.
“This creeped me out, beyond anything, since it was almost impossible to place my husband, who I have always known as the sweetest guy, for the 6 years we have been married, as someone who would do something like this,” she said.
“I was shocked and just, didn’t really know how to react, if I should feel disgusted or sad, angry, I didn’t know. But then, it got worse. I used search to look up her name on his laptop and found something that basically turned any form of sorrow or sadness I would have felt into just pure disgust.”
“He basically had a folder poorly hidden deep in a number of folders, just full of photoshopped pics of her, some solo, some with him, some with other members of the office, and some just absolutely vile and disgusting.”
She snapped some photos of what she had come across for evidence, and she was completely livid but not ready to confront her husband.
When he came home later that evening, she acted like everything was normal. The following morning, she called her pregnant cousin, whose husband was out of town, to see if she needed her help. Her cousin said yes, and she used that as an excuse to move in with her cousin and help her out, that way, she could have some space from her husband and some time to think through her next moves.
So, for the last four days, she has been living with her cousin and trying to get her ducks in a row while feeling nothing but repulsed.
“Like, I feel a mixture of being cheated on, which, I know, he didn’t do anything with her, but still, I can’t explain it,” she continued.
“But on top of that, I feel disgusted that my husband was this sort of a man. But even talking about it to my friends or family feels weird. I tried to share with my cousin, but the embarrassment didn’t allow me to say anything. I just don’t know what to do right now, I can’t stay here forever, I’ll have to head back sooner rather than later, but I also don’t think I can just go back home and pretend that none of this happened or I didn’t see any of this…What should I do, and how should I progress?”
