She’s No Longer Engaged After Finding Text Messages On Her Fiancé’s Phone From Another Girl He Saved As “Wifey”

Out of all the couples that get engaged every year, not every one of them will make it down the aisle.
TikToker Ayanna (@ayannawesley) is talking about the series of events that led to the breakdown of her engagement.
Shortly after her engagement to her fiancé, they started planning their wedding. They managed to secure their venue for October of 2024.
Everything was going well until May of 2023. They had been discussing ideas for their honeymoon, but one night, Ayanna got a really bad feeling about something that she couldn’t explain.
The following morning, when she went to charge her fiancé’s watch, a text message popped up on the screen.
The contact name of the person was “Wifey.” Obviously, Ayanna wasn’t the one who had sent the text. So, she decided to open the message and read it.
As she was going through the messages, she didn’t find any incriminating evidence of her fiancé’s infidelity.
Still, the conversation was one that was inappropriate to have with someone who you weren’t seriously committed to.
After making the discovery, she woke up her fiancé and demanded an explanation. Of course, he tried to gaslight her, telling her that he was just friends and coworkers with the other girl.

Ayanna ended up going to work even in her state of distress. She was freaking out while he was acting nonchalant about the whole situation.
She left work early to talk with him. At the beginning of the conversation, he insisted that he was not cheating on her, but by the end, he declared that he wasn’t ready for marriage.
They agreed to keep their situation quiet for a bit until they were ready to break the news to other people. Little did she know that he would be hopping on a plane to Florida the very next day, right after throwing a wrench into their entire relationship and disrupting both of their family’s lives.
So, while he was in Florida, she went out to the bar with her friends to get her mind off things. She did not wear her engagement ring.
When he saw one of the pictures of their night out that her friends posted online, he became extremely angry. A few hours after the picture was posted, she received a phone call from him screaming that she wasn’t wearing her ring and that a bunch of guys were standing in the background of the photo. The day after that, her fiancé officially broke up with her.
In the comments section, some TikTok users shared about how they caught their own significant others red-handed.
“I found out about the other woman when his phone linked to my car, and her name popped up. I divorced him, and now he’s dating that woman who is his coworker,” commented one user.
“Found out my bf of 1 1/2 years had a gf of 7 years! But he guilted me for sleeping with someone during our talking stage,” wrote another.
“I caught my ex-husband in the same way. I NEVER look at his phone. One day, it was on the kitchen counter, BLOWING UP, and then I saw all the messages on his lock screen. I took pics, confronted him, and he still tried to gaslight me. You are lucky you found out before marriage!!!” exclaimed a third.
