Recently, this 24-year-old guy and his 23-year-old girlfriend went out to a restaurant to have dinner together.
While it was hardly a fancy restaurant, it was a step above a chain-style eatery. He and his girlfriend sat down at a table, and they noticed a couple was sitting at the table across from them.
The couple was in their mid-30s, and they had an approximately 8-month-old baby along with them.
The aisle in the restaurant that separated him and his girlfriend from the couple and their baby wasn’t large at all; probably two people could squeeze past one another for reference.
So, their tables were fairly close together. As he and his girlfriend were waiting at their table for their dinners to arrive, something pretty awful happened.
“While we were sitting there, the couple changed their baby at the table and left the diaper sitting at the end of their table closet to us,” he explained.
“It sat there for probably about 15 minutes up until our food was served. I personally found this a bit disgusting, and it may have been in my head, but I felt like I could smell the diaper. That is why when our food came, I asked them if they could please throw it away.”
“The guy at the other table asked why. I responded with I find it gross to be eating in close proximity to human waste when there is a changing station and trash can in the bathroom (I checked, there are both).”
This guy snapped at him to mind his own business, and he and his girlfriend decided they should eat their meals quickly so they could just leave.
