Her Heart Has Been Broken So Many Times That She’s Scared To Date

Fairly recently, this 33-year-old woman exited a relationship that lasted quite some time. This guy was her first boyfriend, and she’s concerned that he will be her last too.

Her now ex-boyfriend was extroverted, adventurous, and always on the move. He loved partying and drinking.

He used to accuse her of being lazy for not liking thrills or the great outdoors, and that made her feel awful.

Another thing that complicated their relationship was that she found it extremely difficult to try to forge friendships with the wives of her ex’s friends since these girls only cared to discuss clothes. While she likes fashion, she believes there’s more to life than clothing.

Right now, her ex is currently dating several girls and going to different clubs. As for her, she can hardly bring herself to leave her house, let alone date.

Her heart has broken so many times that she’s honestly afraid to put herself out there and jump into the dating pool, which has left her thinking she should accept she’s going to be alone for the rest of her life.

She loves being home, reading books, watching movies or shows, spending time with her pets, and doing different arts and crafts.

Her job happens to be so mentally exhausting, as she manages 30 people and has to talk so much during the day that when the work day is over, she’s too tired to be social.

“As expected, it is hard for me to meet new people and build connections,” she explained. “The people I meet end up inviting me to clubs, parties, drinking, etc., and just like my ex, they make me feel like I am a loser and I am boring.”
