She Kicked Her Sister Out Of Her Bridal Party After She Screamed At Her For Purchasing A Wedding Dress She Hated

I’ve always sympathized with brides who try on wedding dresses and fall in love with one, all for one friend or relative they brought to the bridal store to give them grief.
One woman recently had to kick her sister out of her bridal party after she freaked out when she purchased a gown she didn’t like.
She’s 28 and getting ready to marry her 32-year-old fiancé. Although she isn’t very close with her 31-year-old sister, her family pressured her to make her sister her maid of honor.
During the early stages of wedding planning, her sister was surprisingly pleasant and helped her with a lot of things. They were getting along great until recently when she invited her sister to go dress shopping with her.
“[I] found the most beautiful dress that looked great on me, and the whole bridal party agreed with me, except my sister,” she recalled.
“When I was expressing how much I loved it, my sister started sighing and rolling her eyes. When I asked her what [was] wrong, she started making comments about how my dress showed too much and how my fiancé would never want me to show up in it.”
The following day, she decided to show the dress to her fiancé, who really liked it, so she went ahead and bought it despite her sister’s opinion.
Usually, people who don’t like your dress get over it once they see how happy you are with it. However, her sister is a different story.
“The next morning, I woke up to 29 missed calls and 37 texts, all from my sister,” she said.

“I asked her what the matter was, and she [told me] to meet her for lunch. I met up with my sister for lunch when she started screaming at me, [saying] I couldn’t buy the dress after she said she didn’t like it and that she hopes my marriage fails.”
She was shocked by her sister’s words and told her she was being dramatic and that she loved the dress. Still, her sister continued, screaming and ranting at her.
Finally, she told her sister she couldn’t attend her wedding or be in her bridal party. Her fiancé backed her up, telling her that her sister was wrong to say such horrible things to her.
While her fiancé supports her, her mom has been very upset that she uninvited her sister and won’t stop texting her, trying to get her to change her mind.
Should she consider allowing her sister back in her bridal party or leave her out until she gets an apology?
