This 26-year-old girl met her 27-year-old boyfriend online some time ago, and they are in a long-distance relationship right now.

She knows it sounds cheesy to say that he’s the best thing to ever happen to her, but he is, and he’s the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

The majority of the time, her boyfriend only sees her face when they video call one another and she also does send him selfies that are from the neck up.

She has occasionally sent her boyfriend mirror pictures that show more of her body, but he has no idea she’s morbidly obese since he hasn’t seen enough of her body to really tell.

She’s 5’2″ and 220 pounds for reference.

She does open up to her boyfriend about how hard it’s been for her to be bigger throughout her entire life, and she has admitted to him that she’s fat.

Any time she does tell her boyfriend she’s bigger, he only says one of three things: she’s perfect anyway, she’s not fat, or she shouldn’t be bothered by what other people think about her.

“I appreciate his replies to make me feel better. But I think he doesn’t grasp the weight of his girlfriend’s numbers on the scale, how he’s talking to somebody dealing with morbid obesity, how every piece of her clothing would be too loose on him,” she explained.

“Thinking about all this kills me from the inside but makes me go back to drinking lemon water and eating salads.”

“Telling someone my weight would be a scary, vulnerable, herculean act for me as I had crushing experiences doing so before. So how should I tell him that he’s dating someone obese? Should I even bother telling him based on his replies?”
