Two years ago, this 26-year-old woman married her 35-year-old husband, who works as a doctor. Ever since tying the knot, she says her husband has been amazing, and their marriage overall has been wonderful as well.

Three weeks ago, she strangely began to experience pain in her stomach that would come and go, so at first, she figured it had to be cramps causing this.

Her husband reassured her that she would be just fine, so she truly was not worried. But then, things began to get worse, and eventually, she found herself in an agonizing level of pain.

“My husband acted more annoyed than concerned, even when my temp was 103,” she explained.

“He kept telling me to take some pain meds and a shower. When I said I thought I needed to go to the ER, he told me no, that it was unnecessary.”

“Even when I cried in pain, he didn’t comfort me at all. He genuinely rolled his eyes at one point. (Also I’m not dramatic about pain at all, I’m rarely sick, so this wasn’t like a normal thing).”

Suddenly, one night, the pain stopped out of the blue, and it was then that her husband grew concerned for her wellbeing.

The following morning, he gave her a bottle of water and stated that she looked much better to him.

She once again said she no longer had any abdominal pain, and then her husband agreed it was time to take her to the Emergency Room.

It turns out that her appendix ruptured, so it’s a good thing she did end up receiving medical care when she did after her husband blew her off for so long.

“Anyway, so I had surgery and a bad infection,” she said. “I was in the hospital for like a week and a half, I think.”

“While I was there my husband was very kind and attentive, but ever since I’ve been home he’s back to insinuating I’m being dramatic.”

“I’m genuinely so confused as to why he’s acting like this. When I ask, he insists he’s not acting that way, though he clearly is. He genuinely asked me yesterday if I was going to cook dinner. Like? Why is he like this? He’s never ever been this type of person before. Is it because he’s a doctor?”
