For the last 9 years, this 29-year-old man has been dating his 28-year-old girlfriend, and out of the blue a couple evenings ago, he felt the need to ask his girlfriend if she had ever ended up cheating on him.

He’s not the kind of guy to get envious of anything, and he never has asked his girlfriend if she has cheated since he has trusted her all along.

But, he asked the question anyway, and was shocked when his girlfriend confessed to cheating on him twice.

His girlfriend maintained she had only cheated on him on two separate occasions, but he’s convinced there have been more men than she’s letting onto.

“One of the people that she cheated on me with was her best friend from childhood’s soon-to-be-husband, as they’re getting married in two months,” he explained.

“This obviously completely rocked my world, to say the least. My girlfriend first said that they only kissed, then [things escalated]. She says it happened 5 years ago, and her friend was sleeping in the other room. I’m sure they [slept together].”

“Once I figured out my girlfriend was capable of that I realized I could never be with her again and there’s no coming back from this. If you’re the type of person who can hook up with their best friend’s boyfriend, no matter how much alcohol, that’s a significant character flaw that will no longer be my problem.”

He was able to record his girlfriend’s admission, so he has her on the record confessing to what she did.

He promptly dumped his girlfriend after she said she cheated, but he really wants to let her poor best friend know the truth about the man she’s about to get married to.

If he was in this girl’s position, he would absolutely want someone to tell him the truth to avoid building a life with someone disingenuous.

“People are telling me not to tell her, but I just can’t see a world in which I don’t,” he said. “What do you think?”

“I know it’ll absolutely ruin my ex’s life. But that’s not why I’m doing it. Thanks for any insight.”
