This 28-year-old man married his 28-year-old wife three years ago, and they have been together for 9 years in total.

For the entire time they have been together, they each have expressed wanting to have kids in the future.

Last summer, he and his wife went out and got a Labrador Retriever puppy, and their puppy is currently 10-months-old.

But his wife is having a hard time with their puppy, and it’s making him doubt that having kids together sometime soon is a good idea.

“My wife really struggles to handle the dog. He’s not perfectly trained yet, but he’s already really good,” he explained.

“Mostly loose lead walks other than the occasional pull to smell something. Sometimes, [he] jumps on the counter to eat something he shouldn’t, but we are working on them. She has very little patience to deal with, well, a puppy.”

“I end up doing almost everything for the dog. I get up early at 6 a.m. so she doesn’t have to walk, feed, or play with him when she gets ready for work, and then I have him while I eat and get ready for work and leave at 9 a.m.”

His wife arrives home from work before he does. She gets back at 4 or 4:30 at the latest, and he usually comes home at 5:30 or so.

If he happens to be a tiny bit late getting home from work, his wife gets irritated since he’s not there for their puppy.
