Her mom doesn’t see things the same way as her friends do, as her mom believes that regardless of what her husband said about his ex, that doesn’t discount his love for her, his new wife.
“I’ve never seen my husband’s ex as competition, but to hear that there are clearly some very strong feelings still in the mix from his perspective makes me feel a little weird,” she said.
Adding to the weirdness, a letter arrived at her home last week addressed to her and her husband, and it was from her husband’s ex-wife.
She is currently two months pregnant, and the letter her husband’s ex-wife sent congratulated the two of them on the pregnancy.
Her husband’s ex-wife also said she was happy to be there for them if they needed anything at all, which she really had a problem with.
“I found this really odd since I’ve never met her,” she continued. “I knew my husband got our current house shortly after his divorce, so assumed she probably knew where we lived, but that hadn’t bothered me until now.”
“He sent a thank you letter back on behalf of us both, and I’m currently unaware if they have any regular contact.”
“Should I be worried about this? I just don’t know how to feel, and everyone in my real life has differing opinions.”
