She Traveled To Spain To Get Away While Navigating Her “Nasty” Divorce, But Then She Mysteriously Vanished After A Man Wearing A Motorcycle Helmet Disabled The Security Cameras In Her Building

According to Sanna, the text was written in an “emotionless” style that sounded nothing like Ana’s tone. On the other hand, Sanna believes the Spanish text appeared so flat that it might have been run through Google Translate after originally being written in English.

“I met someone wonderful!! He has a summer house 2H [hours] from Madrid. We are going there now, and I will spend a few days there. Signal is spotty. I’ll call you when I get back,” one text from Ana’s phone read.

“Yesterday after therapy, I needed a walk, and he approached me on the street! Amazing connection. Like I never had,” another text read, sent from Ana’s phone one minute later.

Following these texts, Ana never responded to her friends again, and her cell phone was reportedly turned off. She also never returned home to her apartment that night and was never heard from again.

After receiving the strange texts and no further responses from Ana, her friends contacted the police. This prompted firefighters to visit Ana’s apartment on February 4 to conduct a welfare check.

Once they arrived at her apartment, she was nowhere to be found. But, at the same time, nothing looked askew in her apartment, and the unit had last been locked from the outside.

The following day, February 5, Ana was also scheduled to see another friend in Barcelona via train. So, the police in Marid claimed they would begin investigating Ana’s whereabouts if she did not show up for her scheduled Barcelona trip.

Ana never arrived in Barcelona, and afterward, detectives reportedly asked a Spanish judge to grant permission for Ana’s apartment and phone records to be searched. Since there was no strong evidence of a crime at the time, this request was denied.

So, it wasn’t until Ana’s two friends went to her apartment building on February 8 in search of Ana that they found out about the helmet-wearing man who had disabled the complex’s security cameras. At that point, her friends contacted the police again, and the search for Ana has continued ever since.

Investigators in both Madrid and Fort Lauderdale have launched investigations on either side of the Atlantic, but authorities have been hesitant to provide updates on the search effort.

Ana and her husband own a company that provides computer support for businesses in South Florida. Additionally, they own a home and two properties in Fort Lauderdale, one of which is under foreclosure right now.
