For a little over five years, this 27-year-old woman dated her 35-year-old ex-boyfriend. She actually dumped him at the end of February, and she had a couple of reasons for ending the relationship.

One of the largest problems between them centered on her job and the fact that they had to spend three or four days every week not seeing one another.

Her ex-boyfriend’s inability to compromise was a big turn-off for her, but then he went about communicating his feelings in a way that definitely gave her the ick.

“I was starting to feel the relationship was becoming unhealthy and didn’t want either of us to hurt each other in the process,” she explained.

“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, to walk away from someone when still in love with them but also accept that perhaps we aren’t bringing out the best in each other.”

After breaking up, her ex-boyfriend questioned her about what he should do with her belongings he still had at his place.

She mentioned to him that he could mail them to her, and she would happily pay the bill, or he could chuck them in the garbage.

She hasn’t received her things in the weeks since their relationship ended, and she has not spoken to her ex-boyfriend either.

She actually never responded to the final message that he sent her, as she was exhausted from the nonstop fighting.
