Her Sister Is Furious That She’s Throwing Her Anniversary Party The Same Year As Her Sister’s Wedding And Threatening Not To Attend Unless She Moves The Party To 2026

Regardless, when she refused to move her party, her sister became “hysterical” and kept saying that she didn’t want to share the same year. Plus, her sister claimed she was entitled to being “selfish” since she’s the one getting married.

“[My sister said] she waited 15 years for this, and I get to throw a party whenever I want because I’m already married, and it’s my own fault I got married in the pandemic,” she added.

This has left their relationship really tense, and now, her sister’s threatening not to show up at her anniversary party if she still hosts it in 2025.

So, she’s been left wondering if planning to throw her five-year wedding anniversary party the same year that her sister gets married is really so unreasonable.

Do you think her sister has the right to claim an entire year for her wedding? Or do you agree that her sister’s request is ridiculous? What would you do in her shoes?
