“Again, it was a quick comment, and it didn’t feel malicious, but damn, it sucks to hear. I feel self-conscious when we get close to each other because I’m clearly way more attracted to her than she is to me.”
“It was a point of pride that I could get a partner that was so much more attractive than me, but hearing her say it to my face just makes me feel terrible. Does anyone have any similar experiences? This is my first relationship, so I’m new to all this, but is there a silver lining here?”
