“I said no, and she was very irritated,” she recalled.
“She called me back after talking to my brother and told me that she was inviting us to the wedding, and I didn’t need an invitation. I said that I was not going to the wedding without an invite and that if they didn’t want me at the wedding, I didn’t want to be there.”
Now, her family is angry with her for refusing to attend the wedding. However, she believes that unless she receives a proper invitation from her brother and future sister-in-law, she isn’t wanted at the wedding and, therefore, should not go.
Should she accept the random invitation from her mom or stand her ground?
