Her Friend Has Been Sleeping With Her Fiancé For Months, And She’s Getting Married Next Friday

For the last three years, this 31-year-old woman has been with her 36-year-old fiancé, and he proposed to her a year ago on their anniversary trip.
They went to Hawaii, and he very romantically wrote in the sand, “Will you marry me?” She started crying and, of course, said yes.
Her fiancé is supportive and kind, and their wedding is happening next Friday. They picked a special day to tie the knot; it’s their three-year anniversary.
She’s been excitedly waiting for her wedding day and looking forward to living her whole life alongside her fiancé.
Recently, she’s noticed her fiancé has been working longer hours (he’s an IT tech), but despite that, he’s been spending quality time with her.
Back when she started dating her fiancé, she also became friends with a woman who was in her fiancé’s social circle.
In time, her fiancé started being closer friends with this woman, too. She eventually asked her to be a bridesmaid at her wedding as their friendship was that important to her.
Several weeks ago, her fiancé got home from work and told her an insane story about this friend of hers.
Apparently, her fiancé went to a bar after finishing work and witnessed her friend getting hit on by a guy even though she had too much to drink.

Her fiancé stepped in and drove her friend home, but when they got to her apartment, her friend leaned in and kissed him.
Her fiancé pushed her away yet helped her get into her home and quickly left after her roommate answered the door.
Her fiancé maintained her friend most likely wouldn’t remember due to the amount she drank, but he wanted to be honest that nothing had actually happened.
She reassured her fiancé that she trusted him no matter what and believed his side of the wild tale. The following day, she phoned her friend to ask if she recalled kissing her fiancé the night before.
Her friend had no idea what to say to her, and she pointed out that she wasn’t angry considering the circumstances. Her friend said thank you and hung up in a hurry.
This brings us to today: she hasn’t been feeling well and was in her bathroom when someone knocked on the door.
She was surprised to see her friend standing there, looking anxious. She couldn’t even say hello before her friend blurted out that they had to sit down and have a conversation.
They made their way over to her couch, her heart beating out of her chest. She had no idea what she was walking into with her friend.
“She took a deep breath and confessed to me that she and my fiancé have been sleeping together for months,” she said.
“She then started crying. I felt the air lift out of me as soon as those words came out of her mouth. I asked to repeat what she said. She did. I felt the silence in the room. I got up from the couch and put my hands over my head. Are you [kidding] me? You’re my friend and bridesmaid, and you chose to sleep with my fiancé and decided to drop the bomb one week before I was due to get married?”
She questioned her friend about how long the affair had been going down, and she admitted it began a couple of months after the engagement.
Her friend said there was a lot of tension, and even though they were aware the affair was wrong, they continued anyway.
All those hours, she thought her fiancé was working late at his job, and she was wrong – he was sleeping with her friend instead.
As for her fiancé’s story about her friend, that was made up too. Her friend wasn’t drunk that evening, and they had just hooked up.
From there, her friend grabbed her phone to show her all of the texts they exchanged. Her friend had her fiancé saved in her phone as “Boo,” and her fiancé had recently asked her to send steamy photos, which her friend did.
She promptly asked her friend to leave her house and never speak a word to her ever again. Her friend nodded and walked out silently.
“I then shut the door and wept and wept,” she continued. “My heart is hurting right now since the future that I’ve imagined is gone. Plus, I’ve lost my friend. What am I going to do now? How am I going to tell people?”
“I immediately called my fiancé, but since he’s at work, it went to voicemail. I left him an angry message saying I know what happened. I just want to know, should I wait until he comes home? Or should I just leave because this revelation is messing with my mind.”
