Her fiancé stepped in and drove her friend home, but when they got to her apartment, her friend leaned in and kissed him.
Her fiancé pushed her away yet helped her get into her home and quickly left after her roommate answered the door.
Her fiancé maintained her friend most likely wouldn’t remember due to the amount she drank, but he wanted to be honest that nothing had actually happened.
She reassured her fiancé that she trusted him no matter what and believed his side of the wild tale. The following day, she phoned her friend to ask if she recalled kissing her fiancé the night before.
Her friend had no idea what to say to her, and she pointed out that she wasn’t angry considering the circumstances. Her friend said thank you and hung up in a hurry.
This brings us to today: she hasn’t been feeling well and was in her bathroom when someone knocked on the door.
She was surprised to see her friend standing there, looking anxious. She couldn’t even say hello before her friend blurted out that they had to sit down and have a conversation.
They made their way over to her couch, her heart beating out of her chest. She had no idea what she was walking into with her friend.
“She took a deep breath and confessed to me that she and my fiancé have been sleeping together for months,” she said.
“She then started crying. I felt the air lift out of me as soon as those words came out of her mouth. I asked to repeat what she said. She did. I felt the silence in the room. I got up from the couch and put my hands over my head. Are you [kidding] me? You’re my friend and bridesmaid, and you chose to sleep with my fiancé and decided to drop the bomb one week before I was due to get married?”
She questioned her friend about how long the affair had been going down, and she admitted it began a couple of months after the engagement.
