When TikToker Deidra (@deidraxoxo03) worked at a daycare, one of the teachers got fired for eating a kid’s lunch. At the time, Deidra did notice that this teacher sat with the kids during lunch, but she figured that she was just being proactive and making sure none of the kids choked.
“But I knew something was off because every time I would turn around, she’ll be chewing, but she never had a plate in front of her,” said Deidra.
“She’ll be taking stuff off their plates, and then the kids start fist-fighting each other because they think that they took each other’s fries, and the whole time, it was her.”
Deidra remembers this teacher asking a three-year-old if they were going to finish their food. When the child said no, she ate the rest of it.
Deidra called her out, saying that was disgusting, especially since half the kids were always sick. It got to the point where she had to tell this teacher not to eat the children’s food.
So, instead of directly taking the food off their plates, she waited until they were about to throw their leftovers in the trash before pouncing on their plates.
One day, the lunch lady came to drop off meals for each of the kids. One little girl was still in the bathroom when the food arrived, so Deidra set her lunch aside.
Then, she realized that the lunch lady hadn’t dropped off any milk, so she went to get the milk, leaving the other teacher behind.
When she returned, the little girl had finished up in the restroom, but her lunch was missing. Deidra glared at the other teacher because it was obvious she was the culprit.

Deidra headed to the kitchen to ask if they had any extra food. Then, she marched over to the manager’s office to complain about the situation.
She explained that many of the kids had started scarfing down their food because they were afraid this teacher would come and take it.
Some of the kids would even walk up to her and hand her their trays with their leftovers.
The manager sent another teacher to the room to watch over the class while she questioned Deidra and the other teacher. When the manager asked the teacher how many times she had taken a tray from a child, she lied and said it was the first and only time.
Of course, Deidra quickly corrected her.
“The manager forced the lunch lady to make another plate for the little girl, and she sent the teacher home,” Deidra said. “I went back in there to the kids and said, ‘Ya’ll don’t have to worry about that no more. The scary monster is gone.'”
The next day, the teacher returned to clean out her cubby, and the kids started screaming in fear. Deidra had to calm them down. And that was how she saved the kids’ lunches from being eaten by a teacher.
