After returning home from a bad third date, TikToker Steph (@stephfromjersey) has vowed not to go out with this man ever again.
He didn’t listen to her when she told him that she didn’t like ice skating because she has a vertigo condition. He was also a doctor, so he should have understood her condition.
He suggested that they still go to the same place where the skating rink was located because there were other activities to do, such as mini golf or the batting cages.
But when they met up, he informed her that he had reserved two hours of ice skating for them. He loved skating because he had grown up playing hockey. He reassured her that he would teach her how to skate and be by her side the whole time in case she got dizzy.
The second they hit the ice, she didn’t see him again for a while. He was doing laps around the rink while she hugged the wall and slowly inched across the ice. Finally, he found her huddled against a wall. He was having a blast, but she clearly wasn’t having any fun.
He promised to help her after one more lap. However, he never came back and kept going around in circles, showing off his skating tricks for everyone else on the ice.
When Steph made it to the exit, he skated over to her. She told him that she was going home, and he seemed confused because their time wasn’t up yet.
She ended up leaving and never speaking to him again. Not only did he disrespect her boundaries by deciding on ice skating for their date, but he also didn’t seem to care about her at all.
Some TikTok users pointed out that he just wanted to take the opportunity to show off, while others shared similar stories of their dates totally disregarding what they said.

“He probably thought you’d be so impressed with his ice skating skills that you would just swoon for him. I bet it’s a common move for him,” commented one user.
“Reminds me of a time when I dated someone and told them I hate bell peppers, and every single dish that man cooked for me was mostly bell peppers,” stated another.
“I once told a man I was dating that I didn’t like country music. He told me, ‘You will listen to country music with me. I will make you.’ And it was one of the reasons I dumped him a few days later,” wrote a third.
“Had several conversations about me being a vegetarian, and our first (and last) date was to a steakhouse, and he ordered for me. A steak,” added someone else.
