When TikToker Madison (@madisonmosaic) was living in her last apartment, she accidentally broke up a marriage. So, the downstairs level of the apartment was an Airbnb, and she shared an entrance with the Airbnb guests.

Lots of people came and went, so she ended up meeting many strangers.

One night, a man and a woman showed up. Madison made small talk with them, but did not learn much about them. She noticed that the woman looked really nervous.

Later in the evening, Madison ran into the woman again, still looking incredibly uncomfortable. She asked the woman if she was okay.

The woman told her that she was feeling overstimulated because her kids were arriving the next day.

At the time, Madison was only 19 years old. She didn’t have any kids, so she didn’t think much about the woman’s worries. The next day, the woman’s husband and kids showed up. The man she had been with the previous night had disappeared.

When Madison ran into her family, the woman pulled them away quickly, so they wouldn’t have a chance to chat. But later, she ran into the husband while she was taking out the trash.

“He starts talking about how this is the first family vacation they’ve gone on in forever,” Madison recalled. “She came up before him, but he finally got off work, so he brought the children up.”

Madison told him that he was not the man she met yesterday. He did not respond to that. He went back into the Airbnb, and from there, a lot of screaming ensued. The next thing she knew, they were packing up the car and driving off.

She will never know if the couple stayed together or broke up after their family vacation. The whole situation made Madison realize that both men and women can be horrible people.

Several TikTok users took to the comments section to talk about how they caught cheaters in the act, while others praised Madison for telling the man the truth.

“When I was working at Six Flags, I’m pretty sure I was the reason that two sisters ended up fist fighting because they came up to my stand where I was a vendor, and they were talking about how they were enjoying their time at Six Flags, and the one girl came up the day before with a guy, and I asked her if the guy she was with was with them today. It turned out to be her sister’s boyfriend,” wrote one user.

“Thank you for telling him! You didn’t break them up; you gave him the truth. I’m sure he already knew about it but didn’t have proof yet,” commented another.

“He definitely suspected. It was just a matter of time before he got confirmation,” added a third.
