A short while ago, TikToker Abby (@explorewithabby) witnessed her neighbor’s house being raided by the FBI in Las Vegas, and it has changed the way she views her neighborhood.

“I am still trying to wrap my mind around it, and I feel like I’ve been emotional about it enough times that I can just talk about it, just to bring awareness,” said Abby.

“Because this is the type of thing that you see on TV and in movies. I never thought that it would happen so close to home for me.”

One day, she was at home when a friend and neighbor texted her about the situation, along with some pictures of a SWAT team surrounding their other neighbor’s house.

Abby has a five-year-old son, so she was especially concerned about safety. She walked over to the neighbor’s house to try to figure out what was going on.

Some people were already there and had asked the officers about what was happening. The officers weren’t able to tell them anything because it was official business.

Abby had never seen anything like it. There was a military-grade tank in the yard, so it seemed that a serious crime had taken place.

Abby called a friend who lived up the street to warn her about the raid in case she decided to go out for a walk with her baby. The friend told Abby that she had heard a loud boom that caused the windows to shake, which probably had something to do with why the neighbor’s house was being raided.

“I don’t know for a fact that this is what happened, but there is good evidence to suggest that this was a crime that involved children,” said Abby.

“As a mom, it’s just unthinkable. It’s very, very disturbing. I felt compelled to talk about it for the simple fact that my neighborhood and the area that I live in in Vegas is very suburban.”

It’s jarring for Abby because this was a house that they passed on their walks. They have even trick-or-treated at this house. You would never know just by looking at the house that people were doing sick and twisted things behind closed doors.

Several TikTok users took to the comments section to express their thoughts and share similar experiences.

“When you become a parent, you become so much more sensitive when you see things involving children. I even feel uncomfortable watching a scary movie that involves kids, and I never had that issue before having my daughter,” pointed out one user.

“This also just happened to me at my next-door neighbor’s house (we live in townhouses and our houses are connected). Scariest thing I’ve ever experienced!” declared another.

“Vegas is wild. It doesn’t matter where you live. I’m in Summerlin, and 10 cops busted down my neighbor’s door one time. Police were hiding in the trees,” commented a third.
