If you think your job is rough, imagine working at a haunted hospital. That’s exactly what TikTok user Nurse Dye (@ma.cristina91), whose real name is Maria, claims to have experienced.

The user worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the postpartum unit, where she experienced some supernatural things. The nurse explained it was a very old hospital and basically the only one in the area.

During night shifts, there would typically be only one CNA. While the hospital’s postpartum unit is split between postpartum on one side and pediatric on the other, at the time this story occurred, there were no patients on the pediatric side.

All that was down there were stored items and a supply closet. Maria said she was enjoying her night with her coworkers when the call bell rang. When she answered it, no one responded. However, she noticed the light ringing in the pediatric section.

She assumed it was a glitch since it was an old hospital. However, the call bell went off again, and still there was no response when she answered. When she looked at the pediatric section, the same light was going off.

She decided to walk down the hallway this time and said she immediately started feeling nauseous and anxious.

She explained that when she looked in the room, “not only is there no patient there, there’s nothing in the room, and by nothing I mean, there’s no bed, there’s no bedside table, there’s no remote control for the TV, there’s no call light.”

She didn’t understand how the call light could be ringing outside the door and at the nursing station when there was no call light in the room.

She explained it was common for things to not be in rooms because other units would sometimes borrow their stuff.

“I about ran back to the nurses’ station,” Maria said. She also said that it is only one of many haunted stories she has from working at that hospital. The nurse’s comment section was flooded with people sharing their own stories.

One commenter suggested that all hospitals are haunted because they have a morgue, and they’ve experienced scary things while working at a hospital, too.

Another pointed out that the unit probably wasn’t always a pediatric section, so someone who had died there could still be haunting it.

Another TikTok user told a heartwarming story about a light flickering three times before her daughter was born. She believed it was her husband’s late mother, a former pediatric nurse, welcoming the baby.

Others begged Nurse Dye to keep telling more haunted stories, and from the looks of her TikTok page, she took their feedback as she has a lot of haunted stories for anyone looking for a quick scare.
