One chilling story came from TikToker @.jmara, who is sharing the terrifying experience of a woman who received a warning from the ghost of a missing girl.
Growing up, this woman’s home life wasn’t the best, so she used to have to sneak out of the house and sleep at school. The janitor started to catch on and would leave the door open for her, so she wouldn’t have to struggle to get into the building.
One night, she snuck out of the house and headed to school. The janitor had a meal waiting for her. Eventually, the janitor bought her a cot and regularly set up food and drinks for her.
When she arrived at the school one night, she noticed a pair of shoes near the cot. She didn’t think anything of the shoes and went to sleep. However, she woke up during the middle of her slumber to someone shaking her arm, telling her to get up.
She saw a ghost girl who appeared to be about the same age as her. She could see right through the girl because she was transparent.
The ghost girl kept telling her, “Get up before he gets you,” and then disappeared.
She lay back down on the cot, unsure of what else to do. In the morning, she snuck out of her sleeping area. As she made her way out, she noticed a missing girl poster on the wall.
After school, she went home to check on her younger siblings. That night, she returned to the school to sleep again. The shoes were gone.
“This time around, she wasn’t as frightened when she was awakened by the spirit,” said @.jmara.

“The spirit told her again, ‘He’s going to get you; get up.’ She realized that this is the girl from the flyer. She said something told her to look down, and when she looked down, she noticed that the spirit wasn’t wearing any shoes.”
Over time, she had multiple interactions with the spirit. The only time she ever saw the spirit was when she was sleeping on the cot in the school.
Then, she had a dream one night where she saw the girl lying on the same cot and a male figure looming over her. He hurt the spirit girl and kept her shoes.
Finally, there was one night when the spirit girl refused to let her rest. She kept shaking her awake and yanking on the cot. The ghost girl pointed straight at the janitor, who was standing in the room, staring at her creepily in the cot.
She jumped up from the cot, pushed past him, and ran out of the school. She never slept overnight at the school again.
