Over the years, TikToker Allister (@allistermarie) has experienced some crazy calls as a 911 dispatcher. The sheer unpredictability of the job sticks with you.

Dispatchers quickly learn to expect the unexpected. But there was one call that occurred at the place where she works that was unlike anything she had ever heard before.

One time, a dispatcher received a call from a frantic man who kept screaming about his snake eating his baby. The first thought that came to mind was that a snake was in the middle of eating a small dog because people often referred to their pets as babies.

Since the man was in such a panic, a lot of the details about the situation were unclear. The call was classified as a high-priority animal call due to the possibility of a human baby being in danger.

Emergency responders wasted no time. Officers were sent out to the home immediately, with some responding by vehicle while others were flown in to assist because of the seriousness of the call.

No one quite knew what they would find when they arrived. The situation was even more shocking than anyone imagined.

The first responders ran inside and found this man’s 13-year-old daughter lying in her bed. A giant python was in the process of swallowing her whole. The snake had already consumed her from her feet up to nearly her chest.

“Turns out they were irresponsible snake owners, and they had this super large snake in a small tank in their daughter’s bedroom,” said Allister.

Snakes are intelligent creatures, and this python most likely escaped from its inadequate enclosure sometime in the middle of the night before making its way onto the sleeping girl’s bed. Her father was the one who found her and called emergency services.

Most of the time, 911 dispatchers do not get closure or find out what happens with calls. Once emergency responders arrive on scene, dispatchers typically move on to the next incoming call without knowing the outcome.

But this case was so extraordinary that it eventually made its way back to her. From what Allister was told about this particular case, the daughter survived the terrifying ordeal. However, the snake did not make it.

“Message to pet owners out there: make sure that you’re doing your research, and do not keep giant, large snakes in small containers uncovered in your kids’ bedrooms,” Allister concluded.

Overall, the story serves as a reminder that owning exotic pets comes with enormous responsibility. Providing secure enclosures in an appropriate location, supplying the right amount and type of food, and understanding an animal’s natural instincts are essential for protecting pet owners and everyone else living in the home.

Do not be a negligent pet owner!

@allistermarie

PLEASE READ: I want to apologize & retract my statement about snakes stalking prey & not eating! I should have done better research & due-diligence, & was wrong, but have been better educated. This situation still 100% happened though & can be found with old news articles & info with a simple google search. I relayed the ACTUAL CALL DETAILS from the person who handled it & the people there! Not a 3rd party news story, the actual CALL! It’s a crazy story, but it came down to owner negligence not the snake. Also Do you wanna hear more dispatch calls? #fyp #dispatchersoftiktok #dispatchercalls #foryou #storytime
