Her Stepsister Ruined Her 10k Bracelet So She Refused To Go To Her Graduation But Now She’s Asking The Internet For Help Because Her Family Isn’t Siding With Her

“I managed to duck away and the bracelet crashed into the floor. Needless to say, I was pissed.”

“I broke down crying after realizing the bracelet had a bunch of new scratches on it whether from her throwing it or last night.”

After this whole fiasco, she told everyone she was no longer going to Annie’s graduation and instead she would be leaving.

“Annie started whining and crying that I’d ruined her graduation by making it all about me and blowing things out of proportion.”

“My dad and stepmom apologized to me and tried to get things settled. My stepmom specifically asked me if we could just both apologize to each other and if I could just “let it go for today” since it was Annie’s special day. That pissed me off even more.”

While everyone else was at graduation, she packed up her belongings, got in her car, and left. Her dad texted her and told her she was immature about everything and owes “his” family an apology.

Here’s what the internet had to say.

“Why are you supposed to apologize? You retreated from a situation where you were expected to accept mistreatment from your stepsister and your father and stepmom did nothing to punish or have her make some kind of restitution.”

“At the very least, she ought to pay to take it to a jeweler and get it polished and the scratches removed, if that’s possible.”

“I will say that’s an insanely expensive item to leave sitting around in a jewelry box in the bathroom. I’m not saying you are at fault, but I would suggest that you keep it somewhere much safer.”
