Angel’s father Shannon is currently behind bars, but his charges have nothing to do with her disappearance.
He’s so far been charged with battery and malicious wounding for a separate incident.

Members of the community took to the comments section of the police department’s post to discuss Angel being missing.
“I personally know the father and I’m worried for the baby’s safety. I’m hoping and praying she is found safe.”
“I personally know him as well…he sent me a text maybe a few weeks before I seen this and sent me pics of her saying he had full custody of her..but I told him I was happily in a relationship and to leave me alone..blocked him and then started seeing all this.”
“So I’ve gotten out of all this that this man found out months ago this baby wasn’t his but the mother still handed her off the beginning of May?”
