She Banned Her Stepdaughter’s Husband From The House After He Ruined Her Daughter’s Proposal
A mom says that her stepdaughter’s husband Jerry maintains he’s a prankster, but he has a way of making everyone and everything just plain uncomfortable.
Her 22-year-old daughter always disagrees with something that Jerry does, and she considers Jerry to be insufferable at this point.
Her daughter’s boyfriend asked the family to help him propose, so they planned a surprise dinner at home.
Her daughter obviously didn’t have a clue about this dinner being extra special, and her stepdaughter and Jerry also were not in on the surprise.
Her daughter’s boyfriend got up to go to the living room to propose to her, and they put a blindfold on her before leading her out.
As Jerry noticed what was going on, he was remarking that they couldn’t be serious about all this.
Her stepdaughter didn’t reprimand him, and the rest of the family looked at him questioningly. Her daughter was walked into the living room and took her seat, at which point Jerry just kept going.
He could not keep his mouth shut, and made obnoxious comments as her daughter was being proposed to!
Her daughter’s boyfriend got out the box that the ring was in, as Jerry said, “No, man, go find another pond. Fish ain’t good here.”

Then, her daughter’s boyfriend got down on his knee and opened the lid of the ring box. Instead of that being one of the most special moments of her daughter’s life, it ended up being one of the cringiest.
Jerry commented again as this happened, saying, “Damn that looks expensive. How much did you spend on that you fool?”
Her daughter couldn’t hide how upset she was as this was all happening, which is truly heartbreaking.
Her daughter’s boyfriend then popped the question as her daughter took off her blindfold. Her daughter was trying to accept the proposal, but Jerry was talking over everything she said.
“Don’t do this to yourself you’re too young to be dealing with this” “dude run,” was Jerry’s final comment before this mom snapped.
She screamed at Jerry to stop and told him he ruined the whole evening, as he tried to play it off as another one of his jokes.
She pointed out that what he was doing was cruel, and then she told him it was better for him to go home.
Her stepdaughter finally stepped in, but not to side with her. Her stepdaughter insisted he was joking and being playful.
“But he essentially ruined my daughter’s proposal,” she said. “I told them I no longer want him to come over after this he walked out but my stepdaughter started crying to her dad calling me callous and claimed I was favoring my bio daughter and this was an excuse to ban her from her dad’s house.”
Her husband doesn’t agree with her banning Jerry from the house and is accusing her of ruining the relationship she has with her stepdaughter. She’s really struggling with the mess that Jerry left in his wake. How would you deal with this?
