He Found Out He Has A Secret Son But He’s Not Planning On Inviting Him To His Wedding
A 34-year-old man used to date a 35-year-old woman named Sarah. Their relationship lasted on and off through high school and into college.
At one point, they discussed getting married to one another, but after he found out Sarah was cheating on him with one of his college roommates, he ended things.
As you can imagine, it was incredibly difficult for him to have to deal with her cheating and the consequent breakup, but to complicate things further, he then learned Sarah was pregnant.
“Immediately I sought her out and to confront the possibility of her baby being mine and Sarah avoided me while sending her friends and new boyfriend “Adam” (the guy she cheated with) after me to stop harassing her,” he explained.
“I reached out to her mom explicitly stating that I only wished to know if there was a chance that I was the father and after enough persistence, Sarah contacted me directly, called me pathetic, that I wasn’t the father and if I continued she would call the police.”
Well, he was 19 at the time, and he had no money. So, he got accepted to a new college, moved away, and time went on.
He ended up meeting his current fiancé, 29-year-old Miranda, and they were in the process of planning their marriage but they had to stop their plans once the pandemic hit.
He and Miranda are now going to hold their wedding, but they’re inviting substantially fewer guests than they originally wanted to since their chosen venue has a policy in place for the number of guests you can invite.
Not long after he and Miranda mailed out their wedding invitations, a 15-year-old named Kevin reached out to him saying he was his son.

Suspicious of this, he asked Kevin the name of his mom, and when he replied Sarah, he was floored.
Sarah had made it very clear to him 15 years ago that there was no way he was the father of her unborn child, and he relayed that information to Kevin.
It turns out, Kevin told him that Sarah got married to Adam (the man she cheated on him with) and it then came out a few years back that Adam was not his father at all.
When Adam found out, he filed for divorce from Sarah and cut all contact with Kevin.
He couldn’t believe what he was learning, and he was immediately furious that Sarah insisted there was no way he was the father of her child.
Although all of this news shocked his fiancé Miranda, she is supporting him through this. He did take a paternity test, which confirmed he is Kevin’s father, and he’s currently talking to Kevin quite frequently.
He does want to meet up with Kevin in person, but Kevin recently found out on social media about his upcoming wedding to Miranda.
Kevin mentioned that we would like to attend their wedding, but given the fact they can only have a limited number of guests and the guest list is full, it’s not possible for Kevin to get an invite.
“There’s no way Kevin can come without Miranda and I disinviting someone else, which we feel is rude,” he continued.
“I told Kevin that while I can’t invite him to the wedding I promise to put together another event so he can meet more people in my family.”
Kevin was accepting of that, but it turns out Sarah’s mom is not. Sarah’s mom phoned him to ream him out for not letting Kevin come to the wedding, and she accused him of not treating Kevin like he’s important.
He’s conflicted now about what to do, and he and Miranda are talking to their guest list in the event that someone might want to give up their spot to let Kevin go.
How would you deal with this?
