“Within the hour of notification, resources from MSU Police and Public Safety closed off the area around the logjam. Dive teams and multiple resources were in the water at first light to begin the recovery process.”
Brendan’s Aunt Dawn shared the sad news on a Facebook page dedicated to finding him.
“Obviously, this is not the outcome any of us wanted or anticipated but we did accomplish bringing Brendan home,” she wrote.
“The full story is not yet known and there are still many questions. We may never know exactly what happened but we no longer have to wonder where Brendan is.”
