“Every time I see her she’s touching her belly and I’ve seen her SO literally prompt the kids to tell us about the latest news with the baby (he’s the size of a grape now, he’s the size of a peach now, he moved, etc.). It’s exhausting.”
Anyway, back to the weddings. She and her fiancé were invited to his ex-wife’s wedding, and her fiancé’s ex-wife invited them to her wedding.
“But now we won’t be able to go to theirs because we have a wedding event for our bridal party the same weekend as their new wedding date,” she said.
“I was really frustrated and she just laughed about how hers was a “shotgun wedding” now and oh well but don’t worry she’d still be at ours. By that point, she’ll be 7.5m pregnant.”
“I know it’s very bridezilla of me but I don’t know if I want that energy at my wedding. She’s bringing her SO and 2 of his older kids, she says to help keep an eye on my fiancé’s kids, but I feel like really she wants to show off her shiny happy blended family and giant pregnancy.”
She did tell her fiancé that she wants to uninvite his ex-wife from their own wedding, and he was really upset about that.
Her fiancé thinks she’s a jerk for even saying that, and he also believes she’s just acting way too “sensitive.”
Do you think it’s mean of her to uninvite her fiancé’s ex-wife from their wedding simply because she doesn’t want her to be showing off her family and pregnancy at her wedding?
