This Dog Is Being Forced To Stay With Animal Control After His Owners Say Another Dog Attacked Him

On June 26th, a pitbull named Rocco jumped out of the car as they were sitting in the driveway, anxious to play with another pup who was on a walk with his owner.
Unfortunately, the happy pup was ready to play while the Australian Shepherd was not.
The other dog decided to bite Rocco in the face, leading them both to tumble to the ground.
Shocked, the owner of the Australian Shepherd started hitting Rocco, which scared him into peeing himself.
Rocco was bleeding from multiple bite wounds and marks once the two dogs were pulled apart. The other dog was left unharmed.
Unfortunately, the family was charged with a ticket for their pup escaping the car, while the Australian Shepherd was left with no scratches or bites.
Since the incident occurred, the family has experienced many problems within their neighborhood as the community surrounding the home decided to team up against them.
Multiple phone calls, videos, and complaints were made, causing the family to constantly be on edge with their poor pup Rocco.
One neighbor went as far as to threaten the life of the family and the dog.

The community continues to harass the family and their daughter Demi who is constantly walking and caring for her beloved companion.
In addition, the neighbors will take videos of them walking and even call consistently to express their concerns and file complaints.
One evening, Demi was playing with Rocco in their fenced-in backyard when a nearby neighbor chose to make a series of phone calls complaining the dog was not wearing a muzzle.
The police and animal control team show up at the house and claim they only want to inspect the dog and teach Demi how to place a muzzle on him.
To her surprise, they snatch him up and decide to take him in. During this time, all of her neighbors are watching.
They claimed the neighbor had been calling every five minutes complaining about Rocco.
The daughter, Demi, throws herself over the scared pup and begs them not to take her special friend.
Rocco is now forced to stay with animal control until after the hearing.
The family has organized a fundraiser as lawyer fees accumulate by the day. They are also charged for keeping Rocco with the animal control team, food, care, and daily visits with the vet.
The animal control team claimed that while Rocco is being a good boy, he is not eating or drinking and seems depressed.
So far, the family has collected 37 donations leaving them at $2,105 with a goal of $5,000.
