She did also send her husband a text letting him know if she did catch a ride home it was going to be expensive, and he didn’t want her to spend that money.
“So I sat in the airport in tears because I was so exhausted and hurt,” she said. “He showed up an hour later.”
Her husband eventually arrived after his baseball game was finished, of course, and she couldn’t help but start lacing into him for leaving her there.
Her husband insisted his game was super important, and he couldn’t understand why she was so unhappy to wait one hour.
“I told him I felt like I’d just been super supportive of someone for three days and was tired and needed some support myself, and was hurt that he’d choose one inning of baseball over my comfort and needs,” she continued.
Her husband said it wouldn’t have bothered him to wait if he was in her shoes, and she’s wondering if she’s being dramatic or if he’s right.
