So afterward, her husband immediately left the house and started running all over town in search of the sweets. He hit a few drugstores and a couple of grocery stores. But they all told him that they did not carry her favorite flavor.
This forced him to drive an hour out of town to go to that specific candy store and purchase the stracciatella chocolates. Finally, he drove home afterward and delivered them to her.
While her husband was out, though, she called her mom to complain about what had happened. And apparently, her mother told her she needed to calm down because her pregnancy hormones were making her crazy.
So, once her husband eventually got home, she ended up apologizing. But he was still pretty grumpy– especially because he had to drive around for hours just to find some chocolate.
Regardless, she still believes that her husband should have known better than to eat her favorite flavor. But, with all of the pushback, she has been left wondering if forcing her husband to replace the chocolates last night was a jerky thing to do.
Do you think her husband intentionally meant to upset her? Is this perhaps a case of pregnancy-induced emotions? What would you have done if you had been in her shoes?
