Candy Cane Dip Is A Really Festive Treat To Try This Christmas
Want to make a really festive treat for the holidays? Well, what could be more Christmassy than a dip made out of candy canes? This simple, no-bake candy cane dip from @ywmfamily on TikTok only takes minutes to prepare.
With the combined flavors of cooling peppermint and yummy cheesecake, you’ll conquer Christmas dessert if you serve this sweet treat that’s a whole lot of fun to eat. It’ll disappear in the blink of an eye; it’s that good!
This recipe only contains five ingredients and pairs well with a variety of snacks, such as cookies, crackers, or fruit. Here’s what you’ll need to whip up this delicious dip.
Ingredients:
-Eight ounces of cream cheese, softened
-A cup of powdered sugar
-Two teaspoons of vanilla
-A half cup of crushed candy canes
-Eight ounces of Cool Whip
Directions on the next page!
Start by whipping a block of cream cheese in a mixer. Once it’s nice and fluffy, add in a cup of powdered sugar and two teaspoons of vanilla. Make sure to mix well for a smooth and creamy texture.
Then, toss in a container of frozen whipped topping before pouring in a half cup of crushed candy canes into the mixture.
You can add more for an extra peppermint flavor if you’d like! Let the dip sit in the refrigerator for about an hour. Once it’s set, garnish it with more candy cane pieces on top.
Now, as for what you can eat with the dip, @ywmfamily uses pretty much anything chocolate–Oreos, chocolate animal crackers, fudge pirouettes–you know, the works.
Additionally, Christmas cookies contribute to the treat’s festiveness, and pretzels are a good option if you want to combine the salty and the sweet.
Give it a try this holiday season, and watch it become a big hit with the kids! We have no doubt that it’s going to taste amazing.
