His Ex-Wife Got To Live In His Home Rent-Free For 15 Years Until Their Daughter Turned Eighteen, But Now His Ex Does Not Want To Move Out, And He Is Threatening To Sue Before Christmas

After he arrived, though, his ex refused to let him in. So, he was forced to pull the divorce agreement card and remind her that he was the legal owner of the house and that she was technically no longer allowed to be there. In turn, he said that if his ex did not allow him inside, then he would call the police.

And after that, he claims that she got the point and opened the front door. But to his total surprise, absolutely nothing was packed up inside the home. In fact, it did not seem like his ex was planning to move out at all.

This caused them to end up getting into an argument while he walked through to inspect the home. According to him, the spat was about his ex wanting extra time in the house.

He was not having that, though, and told her to be out by the end of the week or else he would have her belongings thrown out.

Once they got to the living room, though, he claims to have been “shocked into silence”– because, apparently, his ex had decided to tear down a bedroom wall in order to expand the living room without his permission. And he was pissed.

“She turned my four-bedroom house into a three-bedroom one. I know I did not sign off on this, and from the looks of it, the work was probably done by her boyfriend and not a professional,” he revealed.

So, he was beyond furious and ended up screaming at his ex-wife. Then, he actually told her that he was going to “sue her for everything she has” before storming out of the home.

Unfortunately, though, his ex apparently “went crying” to their daughter about what had happened. In turn, his entire family is now on his ex’s side– urging him not to sue and to give her one more month to find another place.

And this includes his daughter, who now also thinks that he is acting like a total jerk by trying to kick his ex out and sue her so close to Christmas.

So, even though he honestly believes that he is in the right and knows that he is legally entitled to take that course of action, his daughter’s opinion of him ultimately matters most.

“My daughter is a wonderful girl, and I couldn’t ask for a better daughter. She has a big heart and cares about her mother,” he explained.
