His Fiancée Left Him At The Altar, But Now She Wants Him To Take Her Back, And He Has No Idea What To Do

“Mostly, I was very, very excited to make her my wife, something I have been dreaming of since the day we started dating. She’s the love of my life, and it was still hard to believe she was choosing to marry me. I was the happiest man alive,” he explained.

Come the day of their wedding, though, everything crashed and burned. More specifically, his girlfriend fled, and all she left behind was a note apologizing and claiming she “could not do all of this.”

He had no clue where his soon-to-be wife had gone and claimed that since everything happened so fast, the entire day felt like a movie.

All of his family members rushed into his room right before he was about to walk out onto the altar and asked where she was. So, if you cannot imagine, the entire thing was quite traumatic, and he actually ended up crying in front of all of his family members and friends.

Thankfully, his parents took care of all of the guests while he just went home to process the situation.

To his upset, though, his girlfriend was not there. He then just spent the entire day calling and texting her, trying to figure out what went wrong.

His girlfriend’s phone was turned off that entire time, though, so he never got a response. And it was not until about 10:00 p.m. on what was supposed to be his wedding night that his girlfriend walked through the door of their home.

She was apparently crying and apologizing numerous times. She also claimed to want him back, said that she was ready to go through with the grand wedding, and revealed that she regrets running away in “a momentary lapse of judgment.” Finally, his girlfriend said she really wanted to be with him but just got cold feet and panicked.

So, now, he has absolutely no idea what to do. Yes, he cannot imagine his life without his girlfriend. At the same time, though, his trust has been completely shattered.

“I don’t understand why she couldn’t just be more of an adult and tell me properly before the wedding, although she insists she tried to,” he vented.

“I feel disrespected and just heartbroken and embarrassed that I had to go through all of that.”
