To be honest, it’s easy to see why she’s uneasy; her husband has had a prior incident with a different female coworker of his that he wound up texting a lot late into the evening hours.
She had requested that he stop this kind of relationship with his female coworker, but he wouldn’t. She finally took matters into her own hands and sent this woman a message through social media, which led to this woman quitting her job.
This woman’s husband then ended up coming to her house and speaking to her husband about how he carried a gun in his car and thought about using it on him after what went on between her husband and this guy’s wife. Back to the here and now: her husband has lately told her that he has started to find her insanely attractive.
He has never said this to her before, and she hasn’t changed a single thing about herself, so she had no idea where this was all coming from. But then, her husband admitted his current female coworker is the reason why he’s become more invested in her.
“He started talking about this girl tonight and decided he needed to tell me that even though he knew I didn’t want to hear it that she has helped him heal and open up,” she said.
“That she is the female version of him. That they couldn’t be together because they are both an anxious/ADHD mess, and our significant others are rocks. He said in talking to her the past few months, he has healed his resentment he’s had for me from any of our problems.”
“To me, it all sounds like he was testing the water and decided the grass isn’t always greener. It’s like he saw what else was out there with another girl he’s attracted to and decided, yeah, I guess I’ll put in the effort with my wife. I’m so confused. Any advice or thoughts on this?”
